Our journey began with a simple frustration: gear that failed when it mattered most, designed for replacement rather than repair. This led us to a philosophy of utilitarian restraint, where every element serves a purpose and can be maintained in the field.
We build equipment that stands up to unforgiving conditions, tested in the Pacific Northwest mountains. Our dedication to honest materials and modular design ensures that Argosole gear is not just used, but truly lived in, and repaired for years to come.

Inspected by Hand
Every Argosole pack and shelter undergoes rigorous small-batch auditing and hand-inspection. We meticulously check every load-bearing seam and critical stress point before shipment, ensuring uncompromising quality and reliability.
If a zipper breaks forty miles out, you should be able to fix it with a pocket tool.
